Unintimidated: WI Musicians Against Scott Walker (April 8)

UNINTIMIDATED: Wisconsin Musicians Against Scott Walker is a CD and DVD project featuring 16 bands and their anti-Scott Walker protest songs. In August of 2015, 13 of these bands each had two hours to bang out a song at Howl Street Recordings in Milwaukee, with as much live tracking and overdubs they could fit into the two hours. The sessions were filmed and the result is the UNINTIMIDATED CD and DVD, with accompanying zine filled with lyric sheets and propaganda! All four bands on this bill contributed to the project – Body Futures and Heavy Hand participated in the Howl Street Weekend while Damsel Trash and Venus in Furs contributed independently recorded material.

Proceeds from this show and from the sale of UNINTIMIDATED (on sale at the show!) will benefit Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin and the UW-Madison Teaching Assistants’ Association.
