Labor Affiliations

The TAA is part of a national and international labor community, and as such we are associated with and are active members in a variety of organizations. As an American Federation of Teachers (AFT) local we pay dues and enjoy the benefits of belonging to both the state and national AFT federations and the AFL-CIO. The TAA also takes an active role in various organizations focusing on higher education issues.
