Cut the Contract AND Drop the Charges!

Chancellor Ward still refuses to cut the contract with Palermo’s Pizza, which is in violation of UW’s Labor Code of Conduct, but when students peacefully occupied his office in protest, he had them arrested. They are now being charged with several counts of non-academic misconduct.

This is a double standard, selective enforcement of rules at the whim of administration. TAA Co-president Charity Schmidt has decided to challenge her misconduct charges at a hearing on June 26 at noon. Please consider coming out to support her and the fight for student and worker rights. Come early and wear red!

If you can’t make it, be sure to sign and share this petition telling Chancellor Ward to Cut the Contract AND Drop the Charges!
