Solidarity Sing Along and Freedom of Assembly

The Solidarity Sing Along has been happening every weekday since the capitol occupation in February 2011. Many long-time TAA members have spent many lunch hours singing in the rotunda. In the past three weeks, the Capitol Police have arrested over 200 people for singing, foot-tapping, and even observing the Sing Along, because of a new rule requiring groups of 20 or more to apply for a permit.

This clear violation of the right to free assembly has garnered attention from Democracy Now, the Huffington Post, as well as this meme from Shit Scott Walker Is Doing To My State:

Happy birthday Charity!! If any other proud TAA arrestees would like to have their photos posted, please send them in!
