GOTV Recall Election TAA Phone Banking

The Teaching Assistant Association has set up a phone banking operation at the TAA office. in order to get out the vote among members in the final days before June 5 recall election.

  • Saturday, May 26 from 3:00-6:00pm
  • Wednesday, May 30 from 5:00-8:00pm
  • Saturday, June 2 from 3:00-6:00pm

Come by the TAA office to make some calls to fellow grads! We will be encouraging members to vote on June 5 to recall Governor Walker, elect Mahlon Mitchell as Lt. Governor, volunteer to get out the vote as well as providing information on obtaining an absentee ballot! If you can dedicate even a few hours during this final GOTV, our union will be stronger for it. Click here to sign up for shifts.

The Political Education Committee (PEC) also has several events scheduled:

  • Wednesday, May 23 – Canvass for Lori Compass. Meet at the TAA office at 3 pm. We will carpool out to the lovely hamlet of Horicon, WI and canvass to urge people to vote for Compass.
  • Tuesday, May 29 – Canvassing in Dane County.
