Graduate student assistants demand UW-Madison scrap new pay plan

The Capital Times reported on the Rally for Fair Graduate Student Pay:

TAA co-president Cynthia Burnson called the administration’s insistence on defining the graduate students as students first “devalues our role as workers and the labor we provide the university. We are indispensable in its daily functioning. To say students first and workers second presents a false dichotomy.”
