ASM passes legislation in support of meet & confer
Last November, we asked Chancellor Mnookin to meet with us.
She declined, stating that she “meets regularly with the ASM and other campus shared governance groups to consult on a variety of institutional matters.”
ASM’s legislation declares:
“The TAA’s efforts to engage directly with administration would complement, rather than undermine, shared governance processes.”
This legislation from shared governance expresses support for a union voice on campus, and solidarity with the hundreds of graduate workers who have signed on to meet & confer.
