In case you haven't heard, we got a raise!
TAA members worked tirelessly this past year on the Pay Us Back! Campaign. We mobilized members for actions like the petition to administration and the Grade In for the Grader Good, and we worked with faculty to get department resolutions of support. And it PAID OFF!
TAs and PAs WON A 4.67% RAISE!
This increase will get Teaching Assistants and Project Assistants wage parity with Research Assistants on campus. For more info from UW administration, check out UW News. We are receiving recognition from allies everywhere, including the editors of Labor Notes:

This is just the start. We will continue to fight for more take home pay, including seg fee remission. We win when our union is strong, and when we demonstrate our worth and our power on this campus.
