February 7 2019 Political Education Committee (PEC) Phone Banking

On February 7, 2019, TAA members turned out to phone bank for Satya Rhodes-Conway for mayor, Ali Muldrow for school board seat 4, and Amanda Mirilli for school board seat 5. The membership of the Teaching Assistant’s Association has voted to endorse these candidates, each of whom has demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting organized labor, public education, and addressing social inequality. We are excited to support three candidates who offer imaginative and transformative ideas for improving our community while offering the skill and knowledge to realize them.
